The many colors of the sky

A fun thing we found on Flickr is the kaleidoscope tool. This image is created from a picture of a Light Brahma rooster (isn't he dreamy looking).

Oh, and by the way, the sky isn't falling. Whew. How do I know this? Well, I checked out the color picker on Flickr. You should check it out too and maybe your paranoia about large falling objects would be alleviated. Of course you don't have to click on the blues to find this out, any color is fun.

Good morning sunshine

This morning as the sun was attempting to rise, the girls and I heard the feeble, voice cracking crow of our adolescent rooster. Boys! Always trying to show off!

Now I can repay our one neighbor for her screamingly loud alarm clock.

The sky is not falling

Contrary to popular chicken belief, the world doesn't end when the sun sets every evening. Although it does seem like a miracle that it rises every morning. How does it do that?
